Verdict

A shootout between the top two and not an easy choice. The ex-Godolphin KARUOKA has delivered solid accounts for current connections and ran really well here last time when only reeled in late on by a Varian hotpot with the rest of the field beaten off eight lengths or more. She's yet to tackle this sprint trip but 6f should suit based on that evidence though the filly is only a marginal preference. Conflict has less miles on the clock - and possibly greater improvement to offer - and may have run into a useful newcomer in Time Step last time, although it wasn't the strongest of maidens overall. Topofthetrifle is best watched on debut.
